Why is Lo-Cal House a different concept?

Today, wood framed house is the most common technique in wood housing construction. In view of the thermal regulations applied in France, this technique requires, in addition to insulating materials placed between the structural elements, an additional insulation applied most of the time to the outer surface of the frame.

Lo-Cal House concept is, above all, a structure characterized by its absence of thermal bridging. The thermal resistance of a Lo-Cal House is therefore completely homogeneous in every point of the structure.

The structure of a Lo-Cal House is designed to accommodate 30 to 40 cm of insulation material and consequently does not require additional insulation.

State of Art Concept

This construction system allows to implement thermal bridging free wooden structure which ensures the maximum thermal insulation efficiency.

High Thermal Performance

The energy performance of this construction system is validated by an engineering office as passive house standard.
