What is RT 2012 and RE 2020 ?
RT 2012 is the current building regulation in France. Due to existing thermal regulation, the main energy consumption of a new house should not exceed 50 kWh/m²/year (class A). Only in 2 years, the RE 2020 will aim to reach the energy performance of new buildings to a level of at least passive house standards. To achieve this level of performance, the prerequisite will be to control ventilation, airtightness and thermal bridging.
Thanks to the peculiarity of the proposed structure, the constructive model masters these properties optimally. The volume the structure offers ensures airtightness. The "ghost" structure allows the insulation to create a real thermal shield around the volume of the housing. The RE 2020 will require a passive house which produces energy. That is to say the constructive model is fully in line with the evolution of the thermal regulations.
State of Art Concept
This construction system allows to implement thermal bridging free wooden structure which ensures the maximum thermal insulation efficiency.
High Thermal Performance
The energy performance of this construction system is validated by an engineering office as passive house standard.
